Architectural Technology and Design

I’m a first-year student studying Architectural Technology and Design at UWE Bristol, and my experience so far has been amazing. The course combines creativity with technology, giving us hands-on experience in design and construction using software like Revit and AutoCAD. The lecturers are supportive, approachable, and always willing to give advice and feedback. The campus has great facilities, including studios and computer labs that make project work much easier. I’m in my first year studying Architectural Technology and Design at UWE Bristol, and honestly, it’s been a really good experience so far. The course is a great mix of creative and technical learning, we get to design, use professional software like Revit and AutoCAD, and understand how buildings actually work in real life. The lecturers are super supportive and always happy to help when you’re stuck or need feedback, which makes a big difference. The campus itself is modern and well-equipped, with nice studios, labs, and plenty of space to work on projects. I’ve met lots of friendly people from different backgrounds, and working in groups has helped me learn new perspectives and build confidence. It can get quite intense sometimes, especially when several projects are due at once, but it really pushes you to manage your time better and improve your skills. Overall, I’m really happy I chose UWE Bristol. It’s a great place to study if you’re interested in architecture and technology — learn so much, and it already feels like the first big step towards a professional career in design.
