The facilities are great. Many buildings have screens on each floor indicating what rooms are not in use, which is very helpful to get work done. The Boots Library has plenty of computer space and software available to work on.

I only stay in the artistic section of my uni, and everyone is pretty nice. There are many things going on with societies, my campus is in a city centre which makes transportation pretty easy. I wish the student union hosted more events like their craft markets. Because it’s nice to see students owning businesses.

There's so much nightlife but not a lot if you don't drink or enjoy crowded bars, the student support and student services I haven't experienced.

Coming from a small country (Bulgaria), there is no doubt that I find the facilities at the university absolutely outstanding - from the most modern technology and latest model devices to incredible spacious rooms for every student's needs. And the best part is the university does not stop improving there. As a part of the NTU School of Art & Design, I can express my genuine excitement for the upcoming brand new Art & Design building, set to open in September 2024. All of the hard work of the university staff and their strive to continuously improve only goes to show the fact they have their students' best interests at heart - something quite rare these days! In addition, what I love about NTU, is the genuine concern of ensuring all students feel at ease during their time at university. As an international student, moving away from home could be, quite frankly, one of the most terrifying experiences one could put themselves through at an early age. However, I could not have imagined my time here being spent any differently. From the one-to-one sessions with a personal tutor, discussing any concerns or worries one might come across, to the infinite resources on the NTU website and NOW Online Student Portal, I can confidently express my amazement at the innovative methods the institution uses to approach such complex matters.

I feel like there’s a lot of things to do in the area, which is great for making friends. I also think the library is really handy to have, especially since it’s also open 24/7 it can be a safe place to go to. The main struggle would probably be finding somewhere to stay. Nottingham has two universities so it’s really competitive when it comes to housing.
