This programme in Pet Behavior and Welfare runs alongside other pathway routes of zoo and wildlife conservation, and farm livestock technology. If you are passionate about dogs and looking for a degree course to learn about their behaviour and welfare then this is the option for you. Complementing the holistic approach of the Animal Management programme or the core scientific principles of the Animal Science programme, this course particularly prepares students for employment in the range of companion animal roles including canine behaviour councilors, pet nutritionists and pet animal welfare charities. From 2021 the new Canine Academy provides specialist facilities for our canine behaviour and training aspects of the course.
