The one-year BSc (top-up) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare course is aimed at people who wish toupgrade a Level 5 qualification in animal-related studies, such as the FdSc in Animal Behaviour andWelfare, to a BSc (Hons) qualification. This course allows you to develop and expand on yourscientific knowledge of animal behaviour and welfare, alongside practical application of thisknowledge within animal-related industries. Within this course there are opportunities to developyour academic skills, through critical analysis and evaluation of contemporary research.Graduates may progress into graduate roles within animal-related industries or may continue theirstudies by progressing onto Level 7 studies, such as Masters degree courses. Previous graduateshave progressed into careers in behaviour and training, some have entered into work in zoos, animalrescue centres and veterinary practices.
