Studying an Ancient History degree allows you to explore the cultures of ancient Greece and Rome – their interactions with the world and beyond.In this four-year degree programme, you will explore Greek and Roman society, archaeology, warfare, religion, gender and more. You will also have the chance to learn the language of Greek or Latin. The first year of the course will give you an exciting introduction to higher education and will enable you to explore a range of topics. A Foundation Year is ideal if you need a little more support after further education or if you are returning to education after a gap in your studies.On completion, you will then progress onto the three-year degree program in Ancient History.Supported by world-recognised experts in the field, you will have a wide variety of modules to choose from, including an overseas study trip or local school placement module.
