On our Ancient History BA degree you can explore a huge range of diverse periods, countries and cultures. You can study topics to suit your interests - from earliest Greece to Rome and beyond, and right up to the influence of Classics on modern history and current affairs. Our course also covers a vast geographical area, from Roman Britain to the Black Sea, Persia, Egypt and North Africa. While you will focus on the historical modules, you will also have the opportunity to learn Latin and/ or Greek and explore study areas in literature, art and philosophy.
