This will involve studying a wide range of current issues facing the delivery of amputation and prosthetic rehabilitation in a variety of different settings, including: adult and children’s services within the NHS and other healthcare organisations global issues related to limb loss and access to prosthetic service prosthetic componentry and the prosthetic industry charity settings across different sectors engagement in occupations exercise and paralympic sport the military Further information As well as the academic requirements, we expect you to show a strong understanding of the remit of the programme being in prosthetic rehabilitation (i.e. not general rehabilitation), and a genuine interest in this area.
