Details
You’re normally expected to have successfully completed an honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have appropriate work experience. In most cases, you’ll be a practicing health professional with at least a Lower Second Class Honours degree (2.2) in a subject relevant to health or social care. You’ll need to have a well-developed understanding of anatomy, disease mechanisms and examination skills before undertaking this module – this will be assessed when you apply. You are advised to complete both our Advanced Professional Development modules in Clinical Examination Skills and Biological Basis of Disease before undertaking this course, or to have a knowledge and skills base that is commensurate with the content and assessment of these modules. Depending on your previous experience, you may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
