This stand-alone advanced professional development course offered by the University of Bolton aims to build on your pre-existing knowledge of adult community nursing practice. Well support you to develop professional skills, confidence and autonomy so that youre able to lead and coach a community nursing team while collaborating effectively with other agencies to enable people to remain safely in their chosen place of care.

Our dedicated team will guide you as you explore the community nurses role in supporting the delivery of safe and effective, high-quality care to people, their families, and carers. Well help you develop your understanding of communication, consultation skills and leadership for integrated care and team working to facilitate the planning, implementation and evaluation of care in managing the deteriorating person and older people.
