Mechanical engineering plays an essential role at every level in society. Our course is for you if you’re a newly qualified or practising engineer looking to improve your expertise in specialist areas. Our MSc will enhance both your theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as: computational fluid dynamics advanced thermofluids advanced manufacturing techniques dynamics of solids heat transfer. You should normally have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above. Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should be in engineering (mechanical or automotive), mathematics, or physics. You can also apply for this course if your qualification is in a closely related discipline where you have studied mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid flow. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
