Architectural Technology is a relatively new profession in the construction industry combining a passion for the built environment with a particular interest in technical design. The profession brings together a number of key skills and subjects such as sustainability, visualisation, materials and building technology. In today's environment, the use of information technology tools to develop technical solutions is a key component of the architectural technologist's portfolio.In preparation for a career in practice, you will become proficient in a range of design, technical and management skills. This integrated Masters course provides an array of key transferable skills, allowing the opportunity for a student to apply for a career in a wide range of industries and/or continue their studies in a variety of fields.You will benefit from visiting professionals from a range of disciplines, giving learning a strong sense of contemporary relevance. Our aim is to equip you with the professional and practical skills required in this industry and the placement is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience within the architectural industry. You will also have the fantastic opportunity to travel, whether on study trips to look at the very best of international design or on student exchanges

To include English (or a written subject requiring the use of English). Maths or a science subject is required at GCSE grade 5/C or above if not held at A Level.

Pass 60 credits to include 45 at Level 3 at grade Merit in Construction or a related discipline.

To include Higher Level English (or a written subject requiring the use of English). Maths is required at Standard Level grade 4 or above if not held at Higher Level.

To include English (or a written subject requiring the use of English). Maths or a science subject is required at grade O3 or above if not held at Higher.

Preferably to be held in Construction/Built Environment or a related discipline.
