A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in an appropriate discipline. You also need to submit a portfolio. We will also consider applicants on an individual basis with a 2:2 honours degree, or nonstandard qualifications, who can demonstrate a high level of design ability and relevant knowledge from work experience. Architecture and Cities pathway only: Progression to year two of the course is determined by an interview with the Degree Programme Director of the MArch and Degree Programme Director of Architecture and Cities (two year programme). Progression to year two is normally dependent on achieving a mark of 60% or higher in the Specialist Studio module. If you fail to meet this threshold you will be eligible to continue to the Architecture and Cities (one year programme) and complete your design thesis or dissertation (ARC8117) during semester 3.
