The uni is great, the staff are kind and helpful. Because it’s in the city, I have issues with transport and parking, it would be great if they had a free facility for staff and students only. I think they are lacking in the amount of social activities, I wouldn’t say it’s a party university. Apart from that, there’s lots of great study spaces and the technical team are great and very knowledgeable.

The best aspects would be how many clubs there are! From basketball to dance to netball to even a drama society NUA has really got us covered. This allows us to meet different people from different courses, all sharing a common interest. (The societies.) The support we get whether is therapy or financial is easily accessible and the hours of availability work well with ours. One of the not so good aspects would be the hours get between breaks vs how far the canteen is from wherever our course maybe. NUA is notoriously known for being the University around the City centre but the canteen usually is too far and when we get there the options of food are usually not the best. Despite that the tutors/lectures that teach me are really fantastic and understanding based on whatever circumstance each of us have. NUA is truly a welcoming and brilliant University to learn at.

Really love the course I’m on and the tutors, like the people I’ve met and the place in general (Norfolk) have had the most amazing time so far here. The uni could be improved by having more course support (tutors) and more space for quiet working

On my course we only go in 2 days a week and work from home the other 3 days. Being autistic, this helps me not get overwhelmed and therefore thrive in the course. I also found my tutors to be very accommodating, helping me get the most out of the course despite my struggles. I have yet to find a stress free way to get lunch but I don't know how they would fix that.

Best aspect: The quality of teaching, I love that you can tell teachers are passionate about their course. Worse aspects: it can get a bit lonely
