Acting and Performance at Huddersfield is a production-based course for those that wish to create their own performances and workshops through acting or directing. An impressive 100%of graduates from this course are in work and/or further study 15 months after graduating (Unistats 20/21 data, UK domiciled graduates), too. Past guests include actor Sir Patrick Stewart and Natalie Gavin, John Britton, Nicolás Núñez, Chloe Beale, Nicci Topping, Anna Helena McLean, and David Crowley. Students have also benefited from visits from practitioners and residencies from internationally known companies like Slung Low and IOU Productions. If you’re keen to further your acting studies post-secondary school, our Acting and Performance BA(Hons), this could be the course for you. You may go into contemporary theatre or find yourself writing for theatre productions. Stage production is also another viable career option, and past students have gone on to appear in films, television, touring theatre productions, teaching, and running their own performance companies. Following her acting degree, former alumni Natalie Galvin secured roles in prominent TV shows, including Line of Duty and Gentleman Jack.
