A role in either industry will prove both satisfying and challenging and also require strategic thinking.This BSc Accounting & Finance programme is your opportunity to gain a major step towards a globally recognised accounting qualification with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the global body for professional accountants.Our programme will give you a head start on professional accounting qualifications when you graduate with eight exemptions from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) professional examinations. ACCA is a globally recognised body for professional accountants.You will start this degree with an exploration of diverse topics. You’ll study statistics, economics, law and information technology to gain a truly solid understanding of the field.In the second year the programme goes on to explore managerial and financial accounting, looking at computer applications in management and calculus, to give you a thorough foundation in accounting processes and systems.Deepen your understanding of Taxation and Financial Reporting as well as specialising in topics of your choice, such as Wealth Management or Global Investor.You’ll also have the opportunity to undertake an internship in a leading financial or management organisation in London.Students who study this programme will gain exemptions from the ACCA qualification as follows: Business and Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), Financial Accounting (FA), Corporate and Business Law (LW), Performance Management (PM), Taxation (TX), Financial Reporting (FR) and Audit and Assurance (AA).
