I have felt really happy and satisfied of the way the student support has helped me in my problems. The campus access and feel is really good and I thoroughly enjoy my time in Uni.

My experience as a PhD student at Newcastle University Business School has been largely positive. The school provides a supportive and stimulating research environment, with modern facilities and dedicated study spaces that make it a great place to work. The academic staff are approachable and knowledgeable, offering valuable guidance and constructive feedback throughout the research process. One of the standout aspects is the strong emphasis on industry engagement, with opportunities to attend networking events, guest lectures, and conferences that help build connections beyond academia. The PhD community is diverse and collaborative, making it easy to share ideas and gain new perspectives. The university also offers useful training programs and workshops that enhance research skills and professional development. While managing the PhD workload can be challenging, the supportive supervision and available resources make the journey much smoother.

The university offers a lot of support for your study from recommended reading to being able to email your lectures regarding any questions and have a one to one meeting with them if needed. The university could be improve with more facilities like better cafes, the coffee in campus is not very good and expensive.

I love all the activities and extracurriculars that goes on here, They care for student life balance as well as academics
