The facilities available to me as a business school student allow me access to a huge array of study spaces and information. The business library, the main university library, cafes and RUSU. This allows me to maintain concentration each day and to work in quieter or busier spaces, depending on how I am feeling and what I am up to. This helps me to produce what I perceive o be higher quality work. I had started by working in my room and spending a lot of time alone in 1st year, this made me unproductive and easily distracted by my phone or others. On of the largest buildings is Edith Morley, it is becoming run down and does not feel as comfortable to work as other spaces and lecture halls on campus. It is a maze to find your way around.

I would say that the best thing is the suport and resources you get. This ranges from the kind but dead smiles to the information on the uni website and bb. The worst is probably that one lecturer we all get that doesn't properly teach evening lectures, making lecturea feel optional

Best: Being in student halls first year of university was very nice. I really enjoyed living in accommodation. I lived in an en-suite room which was nice in terms of privacy. Moving away from home I felt like this was the best option as I wasn’t willing to share bathrooms with someone I didn’t know. Living in halls taught me to be independent which also helped in second year where I decided to rent a house with some friends. Arranging all the bills and rent was very confusing at the beginning but it makes a lot of sense now. Another great experience was making friends. I am very grateful for the friendships I made over the last year or so. There are a lot of activities and societies that you can join which helps with socialising. Union is also very good for socialising and just for having fun. One of the best things about uni is that it allowed me to prepare for job applications and interviews. With the help of the careers advisor team I was able to secure a placement at one of the top accountancy firms which I am very excited for. Worst: For me personally there isn’t a lot. One thing is that I miss being home however I don’t live far away so when I feel like it, I can just get the train back home. Socialising through the societies definitely helped with this!

It makes it a great place to study due to the facilities, it has a newly and improved library, a gym with a lot of sports fields. The Henley Business School is new and refurbished and the lecture halls are great. It can be improved as they only have one massive lecture hall in palmer, they should have 2-3. Also the location of the Uni is not great, as a commuter, I have to pay for the bus as it is a 40 minute walk from the train station, they should run a free bus service at least. The student life is not so great, the nearest clubs are in reading town and there is not much to do on campus.

The best aspect - the Henley Business School facilities are developed and the teachers are available for support. The worst aspect - Not allot of food variety on campus. There are multiple food facilities on campus and they all sell the same things pretty much.
