A foundation year might be a good choice for you if you don't have the right qualifications yet or feel ready for degree-level study. Or perhaps you are returning to study and want to get up to speed before starting a degree.The number of students who progress to degree study is very high and in fact, have gone on to become some of our most successful graduates. The Foundation Year in Accounting and Finance is offered as an entry route to a business degree for those who don't yet meet the entry requirements for degree-level study. The Foundation Year in Accounting and Finance is taught by the same lecturing staff who teach on our degree courses and you are taught in small group seminars, workshops and lectures. You will be able to develop transferable skills in business, communication and problem-solving.You will enrol on a four-year course, which includes the one-year foundation course.
