The course aims to provide students with a rigorous grounding in the core concepts, knowledge and skills of accounting and business management through the thorough examination of the specialist knowledge in accounting and business, related literature as well as the practical aspects of business and financial data collection and analysis. This course is ideal for students thinking about a career in accounting, business, or management, in a role that includes financial resource allocation such as department head or practice manager.During your degree you will develop your knowledge, thinking skills, subject-based practical skills and skills for life: Knowledge - An appreciation and understanding of the contemporary concepts, practices, theories and empirical evidence concerning the operation and effects of accounting on business operations and the ability to critically evaluate such theories and evidence within the Accounting, Business & Management subject benchmarks.This course will teach you specific, practical skills that are directly applicable to potential careers while giving you a broad enough education to remain flexible and adaptable to different industries.
