Overview
The Business Access course sets out to offer adult learners a coherent, integrated and supported year of study in business, law, economics and accounts units, through which you will gain the knowledge, awareness, skills and confidence necessary for successful entry into a relevant undergraduate degree.
Why choose this course?
Access programmes are designed for students who have not had the opportunity to access higher education via traditional routes. This course will give you the opportunity to attain some of the tools you will need to complete one of our degree programmes as well as some subject specific knowledge. We will prepare you in the fundamentals of study skills, numeracy and literacy.
How will this course be taught?
Our Access programmes are yearlong daytime courses that aim to give mature students the opportunity to prepare for an undergraduate Honours Degree. The Access course is designed specifically for people who may not have the conventional educational requirements to enter on to a higher education course.
How will I be assessed?
Class tutors will use a variety of assessment methods: portfolio, presentations and online tests.
