It's for newly qualified or practising engineers who’d like to extend their knowledge and practical skills in the growth areas of mobile communications and intelligent embedded systems. 5G mobile communications and intelligent embedded systems lie at the heart of many emerging applications. And you’ll learn from experts in their fields. We host the 5G Research Centre, the Industrial Informatics and Signal Processing Research Group, the Centre of Advanced Communications, Mobile Technology and IoT and the Sensor Technology Research Centre. We also offer this course with an industrial placement year.AccreditationAccredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements.
Degree requirements: You should normally have a lower second-class (2.2) undergraduate honours degree or above. Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should be in engineering, although other numerate subjects such as mathematics, physics or computing will also be considered. You may also be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
