As a Master’s student in 3D Game Art at Teesside University, I am extremely satisfied with my learning experience here. The university is equipped with cutting-edge professional facilities, including industry-standard modeling and rendering software and hardware that fully support our academic and creative projects. The teaching staff are not only highly professional but also incredibly approachable, always ready to offer patient, targeted guidance and answer questions. The curriculum is well-structured, balancing theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, and its content closely aligns with industry needs, effectively enhancing our professional skills. It is truly a rewarding educational journey. That said, a potential improvement could be to increase the number of industry guest lectures and workshops, as this would further bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world studio practices. Additionally, expanding the library’s collection of specialized game art resources would be greatly appreciated by students

i enjoy the atmosphere and the classes i’m doing, my only issue is the prices of food as i can’t afford to eat inside the uni.

pretty good but no societies have caught my eye, and most events at the SU are based around drinking which is understandable

I've really enjoyed uni so far, I've met a fantastic group of friends. Learned a lot about the industry I want to go in and have spent the entire time in an environment that helps me work and relax easily.

I've made a lot of friends which I didn't think I would, there's a lot of things to do, I find my assignments fun to work on and overall it's just a lot of fun.
