Zoology degrees in Manchester

The best aspects are the student union and the facilities available. I think it could be improved if we had more books generally available at the library without requiring click and collect, since right now the library feels like a study space but not a real library.

University of Salford is a great place to study because it offers strong industry connections, modern facilities, and practical learning opportunities that prepare students for real careers. Its location near Manchester provides access to a vibrant city, diverse culture, and many professional networks, while the campus itself offers supportive learning spaces, libraries, and collaborative environments. However, it could be improved by expanding student support services, increasing study and social spaces during busy periods, and providing more affordable accommodation options to better support students’ wellbeing and academic success.

What makes it a great place to study: Many study places, great teachers, good learning environment What can improve: 1. faith space especially for Muslim we have to pray 5 times a day, the prayer space is not in every building and walking from one building to another takes time. The wudhu space is also only available in Manchester Museum, so we have to use the public washroom to make wudhu 2. The study space, there are many plugs that are not working either in Main Library and Alan Gilbert Learning Commons (not sure about other places), so I hope it’ll get fixed 3. So many websites, I hope there’ll be one integrated space that student can check everything without having to jump from one website to another
