Training Development degrees in Southern England

If a student is experiencing really hard life situations, they are supportive, they listen, they provide options so the students continue their degrees and achieve their goals. As for what could be improve, I would say the timetables, could be more flexibles, allowing students to kind of choose their timetables rather than mandatory. However, I say this for the BSc Com puter Science programme, I am not sure about the others.

I found Oxford Brookes University a great opportunity to study interesting modules, having simultaneously the possibility to do interesting activities such as field trips in Oxford and London. I have free a lot of free time that allows me to do what I love the most, sport. I would prefer if Brookes University offered us more opportunities of Exchange Study Abroad and more field trips around UK.

The location is super nice with a beach near by and all uni buildings close together. The facilities the uni has to offer are good library, ravelin sport Center. The sport clubs available are extremely enjoyable. The welfare and student support is good but could be advertised a bit more often so everyone knows what’s available and where etc

I started the BA Photography course in 2018 and finished in 2022. I found the modules interesting, and we had a good mix of arts and more commercially orientated guest speakers. The tutors were incredibly helpful and supportive and did their best to provide engaging sessions despite the disruption of covid19 during my studies there. Resources are good with plenty of studio space, a big Mac-based editing room, and a massive dark room (B@W plus colour possible). Technical support is excellent too. Certainly worth considering for an undergraduate-level photography degree.

BNU offers industry-focused programs and practical learning, with modern facilities and student support services. The diverse student community is positive, but the quality of teaching and lecturers is criticized. The small campus may lead to a less vibrant atmosphere, and there is a lack of clubs and societies for extracurricular activities. While these are subjective experiences, they can serve as potential areas for improvement. Prospective students should weigh the strengths and weaknesses based on their priorities and interests, and visit the campus, speak with current students, and research their desired program for more insights.
