Across the university, students have access to over 500 computers, free Wi-Fi, and loanable laptops. Media equipment, including camcorders and dictaphones, is also available, with digital editing software installed on all library PCs. The university boasts a variety of specialist facilities tailored to different disciplines. For instance, the Oxstalls campus houses the Business School and Growth Hub, featuring a live trading room, innovative teaching spaces, and a moot court room. Additionally, the campus offers an international-standard sports arena, 3G pitches, and a cricket pavilion and pitch. The University of Gloucestershire fosters a diverse student community where individuals from various backgrounds learn together while embracing university life. The Chapel at Francis Close Hall offers a tranquil space for reflection, providing mental and emotional support for students seeking peace amidst their academic journey. A potential area for improvement would be the provision of short-term university accommodation for students in need, particularly at the postgraduate level. Given the unique challenges faced by these students—such as research commitments, placements, or unforeseen personal circumstances—offering flexible housing options would greatly enhance their academic experience and overall well-being. This initiative would reflect the university's commitment to student support, ensuring that all scholars have access to a stable and conducive living environment during critical phases of their studies.

The teachers are amazing at supporting us, and providing advice. Learning support is an incredibly helpful opportunity we are given to get extra support with academic writing. We find out the school that we will be placed at for placement with very little preparation time, it would be better to find out further in advance.

I’m really enjoying my time at NTU! The academic environment is fantastic—lecturers are passionate about their subjects, and the courses are engaging and well-structured. There’s plenty of support available, whether it’s academic help, career advice, or mental health services. The social side is also a huge plus! There are so many societies, sports teams, and events that make it easy to meet new people and get involved. The campus itself is a great place to study, with modern facilities, good libraries, and plenty of study spaces.

Support Services are amazing. They go out of their way to support my peers and me. They are a credit to the university. - Lecturers are very supportive, especially with assignments University halls are in desperate need of refurbishing. Harry Law, Bateson and Rees are the main offenders. Generally, the university's estates need investment.

The postgraduate lecturers are great at teaching and very actively willing to engage with the students on the course. The library facilities are modern and provides access to thousands of books in person and online. The negatives are mainly about the enrolment process which is long and difficult to communicate with the university during, but once that has been completed there are no issues.

My best experience at the university of East London is the student hub. Every time when I had any kind of confusion or difficulties, I went to the student hub. Staff at student hub are extremely polite and cooperative. I faced difficulty in finding the lecture class at the university.

From my opinion I would say ARU is praised for its supportive staff, modern facilities, diverse community, and strong career services. However, areas for improvement include communication responsiveness, consistency in course delivery, better promotion of extracurricular activities, and some accommodation and facility concerns. Overall, it offers a positive student experience with room for enhancement in certain aspects.
