The University of Hertfordshire has great facilities, but there are quite a few unnecessary procedures that could be streamlined, such as booking appointments for even the smallest matters. My experience so far has been disappointing from an academic perspective. I was expecting better quality education, but instead, most of the lectures consist of simply reading from PowerPoint slides, and the practical sessions have been far from engaging. While I understand that self-study is important, not all students, especially international ones like myself, have prior industrial experience or expertise. It's crucial that the university recognizes this and provides clearer, more detailed information about the curriculum, how exams work, and what is expected in terms of assessments. Relying solely on self-study and putting too much responsibility on the students isn’t fair, especially when we're paying for a quality education.

I'm an optometry student entering my third year in September 2024. The lecturers are very nice and supportive; however, the optometry students in Group C are extremely rude, disrespectful, and lack any sort of manners. Many of them speak poorly of you if you fall behind or are slow in your routine, and they refuse to collaborate despite knowing that practice is essential for skill improvement.

Studying an online course at the University of Wolverhampton has been a fantastic experience. The course is well-structured and offers a range of resources that make learning both accessible and engaging. The platform is user-friendly, and there’s plenty of support available, from academic advisors to technical assistance, ensuring that students have everything they need to succeed. The flexibility of studying from anywhere allows for a good balance with other commitments, making it easier to manage time effectively. However, one area for improvement could be the addition of more online meetings with facilitators. This would give students more opportunities to engage in live discussions, ask questions in real-time, and interact with their instructors and peers. These sessions could enhance the sense of community within the online learning environment and make the overall experience even more interactive and supportive.

As an international student, I struggled to find a teaching course that would allow me to study online while working a full time job. The University of Buckingham has afforded me the opportunity to study a high quality and in depth course while working full time. Their kindness and support during this process has been outstanding and has made all the difference for me. I cannot recommend them enough.

it is a very green campus with lovely up to date libraries and accommodation. it is close to town and the train station makes it easy to go southampton for a night out. unfortunately not a great nightlife, SU is good but queue for hours to get in, and no clubs in the town.

More Course Variety: Expanding the range of courses and specializations could attract more students with diverse academic interests. 2. Student Life & Activities: While there are clubs and societies, a more vibrant student community with additional events and activities would enhance the overall experience. 3. Accommodation Costs: Housing options could be more affordable, especially for international students. 4. Administrative Efficiency: Some students experience delays in communication and processing of documents; streamlining administrative services would be helpful. Overall Experience: The University of Suffolk offers a great balance between academic quality and a supportive learning environment. With some improvements in student engagement and administration, it could become an even better place to study.
