Portsmouth is a great city to study in. It's the only island city in the U.K. Living by the beach is one of the best things, as you can go there to relax and forget about Uni for a while. The tutors and facilities are great and useful. The nightlife is good too! Overall I am glad I chose to study at Portsmouth and I will miss it!

Chi offers fantastic student support, from the feedback from lectures to the careers advisors. I always felt guided and supportive in my years at the university. There are multiple canteens offering a great selection of food to the students and staff. The library is very simple to work around and there is always a great amount of space to work either on your own or with a group of friends.

It provides an awesome environment and it is multicultural university which makes it unique. For residences, university should have more residences for PhD students so that students can take benefit from it.

There are some great teachers on writing and by second year, the course becomes very fulfilling. The school does lack some basic space and could do more to socialise the students across the course, considering there isn’t much cross-course integration at all. The work is good, you get a lot out of it and will meet great people along the way.
