Canterbury Christ Church University is a genuinely supportive and caring environment that prioritises not only academic success but also student wellbeing. The staff are approachable and always willing to help, and there are plenty of services available for health, wellbeing, and academic support. The sense of community is strong — you never feel like just a number. The university’s focus on employability is another major strength, and it’s reflected in its impressive record of being rated first in graduate employment. The campus is welcoming and inclusive, and the facilities create a great atmosphere for learning and personal growth. Although the university offers great support, it could continue to improve by expanding study spaces and updating some facilities to keep up with growing student numbers.

The postgraduate lecturers are great at teaching and very actively willing to engage with the students on the course. The library facilities are modern and provides access to thousands of books in person and online. The negatives are mainly about the enrolment process which is long and difficult to communicate with the university during, but once that has been completed there are no issues.

St Mary's feels very much like home. The campus and staff is really warm. They are really interested in student's growth and wellbeing. There is an amazing support team ready to listen and offer help. As a PGCE student, what I love most is the emphasis on wellbeing and how we are being taught to prioritise not just our studies but also ourselves. The school system is also so organized and every information comes in just when it's needed. I absolutely love St Mary's!

Great buildings and location with great transport links to major cities. Being taught by people who are the best in that field and being able to contribute to their research at an early time in your studies. The tutorial system with very few people in classes making learning much more interactive.
