The staff are easy going always ready to help, the park is beautiful, Peel park, got here September 2025 and so far nothing negative, what impressed me the most is I can just have a quick chat with my lecturers about anything bothering in my education and personal life, as an international student it feels so welcoming, too bad I have to graduate lol

I find the amount of support from academic to international and student representative support so immense and it made coping and adjusting to the new environment very easy. The uniskills and library services here is top notch and staff here are very helpful and give guidance when needed. One thing that can be improved is creating more part time job opportunities for students especially international students.

Could do with more support for students struggling financially and could also do with some cheaper options in the Union and other facilities around the Uni such as a buildings cafe. Lots of buildings are located near eachother so you never really have to walk far which is nice and everyone is relatively friendly. The lecturers seem so actually care

Best is socials! I’ve joined the swimming club and the team are great, lots of training available with good coaches and fun nights out. I’ve made so many friends. Worst is the food in campus is quite expensive. There are free breakfast schemes sometimes but not enough and the cafes aren’t really subsidised.
