Performing Arts degrees in All England

The University of Hertfordshire has great facilities, but there are quite a few unnecessary procedures that could be streamlined, such as booking appointments for even the smallest matters. My experience so far has been disappointing from an academic perspective. I was expecting better quality education, but instead, most of the lectures consist of simply reading from PowerPoint slides, and the practical sessions have been far from engaging. While I understand that self-study is important, not all students, especially international ones like myself, have prior industrial experience or expertise. It's crucial that the university recognizes this and provides clearer, more detailed information about the curriculum, how exams work, and what is expected in terms of assessments. Relying solely on self-study and putting too much responsibility on the students isn’t fair, especially when we're paying for a quality education.

The best aspect is that it’s close to town and it has some good facilities such as borrowing laptops etc. The worst is that at times it could get quiet boring especially that Huddersfield isn’t a very active city in comparison to other cities.

This has been a wonderful university experience for me. I've heard that this university is highly effective for both students and teachers, and I truly feel that I have benefited greatly from my time here. After nearly ten months of study, I have gained valuable experience and genuinely appreciate the supportive environment. I am very happy to be part of this university community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this caring culture. Thank you to my university for giving me this chance to grow and learn in such a warm and welcoming place.

The lecturers are lively and interactive. We had the opportunity to share our experiences at the student cafe and I love that they took note of students concerns. Generally the campus life is quite engaging.

My studying at Salford University was very good so far, I really enjoy my course and have a lovely lecturers delivering the learning. Only at the beginning of this year, we have got some organisational issues with timetables, which decreased my learning experience, but I'm happy to hear that University is working on it.

I attended this university for my undergraduate degree over a decade ago, and I cherished my experience then just as much as I do now. Currently, I find myself in a different phase of life as a mature student with a young family. Nevertheless, I believe that the student experience and facilities continue to meet my needs, even as they differ from those I had during my undergraduate studies. Across all campuses, the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The environment is clean and well-maintained, fostering a strong sense of pride among both students and staff. Overall, the university feels safe and inclusive. I wouldn't say there is a worst aspect of my university experience, as I feel it meets my expectations at this stage in my career and life.
