I love my degree. The lecturers are fantastic, knowledgeable and supportive. I love my subject and the freedom this course gives me to explore it. The block learning structure makes assessments more manageable. The assessments are often really open ended, allowing for you to research and write about your interests. It's really helped me to realise exactly what career path I want to follow. Theyre always advertising internships and paid work opportunities in a variety of fields and they provide plenty of opportunities for CPD for free. They have lots of services such as the careers team and 121 library support which are fantastic. UOS isn't much of a party school- Ipswich has an awful nightlife. It's definitely a different experience to some of the bigger unis, but I've met some awesome people of all ages and backgrounds. I would recommend this course, definitely!

I have not had any worse experience at UWE rather, it has been a fantastic journey so far since i started my MSC program in January. The environment is conducive for studying and there are up to date facilities to use. I believe there will be room for improvement in some places but i am not sure yet as i just started my program in January and still exploring but so far so good, it has been a fantastic journey and i look forward to many more memories at the Uni...

the location is very convienient and is very close to many shops. However the Hallam Help Desk is not very convinient and only give info that can already be found or a number that says info already on the site(s). However the teachers are helpful at saying where to get help and request specifics. The lessons are also nice as they allow conversations between the class about the subject and leszon along with help from the teachers.

I'm an optometry student entering my third year in September 2024. The lecturers are very nice and supportive; however, the optometry students in Group C are extremely rude, disrespectful, and lack any sort of manners. Many of them speak poorly of you if you fall behind or are slow in your routine, and they refuse to collaborate despite knowing that practice is essential for skill improvement.

Times have been tough for all students around the world with covid these days. I have moved to England initially to travel and be closer to family in Poland. Instead I have stranded myself away from family and friends on an island. All is well though because I am finding support networks at my uni and through meeting new friends. I really hope classes at school will continue next year, online teaching has not been the most exciting or engaging.

Uni experience overall is great and enjoy my lectures and seminar where I feel included and understand everything I just don’t like the fact that I have to walk around to one building to another for my classes

Ulster has provided me with great support throughout my time at uni with my mental health struggles. The variety of courses in business degree is great providing students with insights into all aspects of business. Ulster’s careers services is exceptional providing great support to final year students. Overall would highly recommend Ulster university

The staff are great! They are always there for support and I never feel like I do not have someone to approach when struggling. Having a personal tutor is so beneficial as well, as you always have them to talk to whether it be about your studies, personal matters or career paths! I also love that it is all one campus so no need to run between building to building making it to classes as they all link in some way. The student wellbeing service is also a great support system in place, the counselling service is extremely helpful and an amazing thing to have built into the university.

It is a close community with personal connections to lecturers and staff. The rooms are comfortable and accessible. The university offers many food and drink options. The library continuously is noisy and the library staff don’t seem to act on this at the time. I think the noise needs to be stopped so people can study properly and in a quiet environment

Studying Computer Science at the University of Liverpool is a great experience overall. The department has a strong academic reputation, with knowledgeable and supportive lecturers who make complex topics engaging and approachable. Students benefit from excellent facilities, including modern labs and access to up-to-date software and hardware, which create an ideal environment for learning. The friendly atmosphere and approachable staff contribute to a supportive study experience, and the city of Liverpool itself is vibrant, affordable, and full of opportunities for social and cultural activities.
