What students say about nursing-specialisms

The student village is so close to the main campus. The campus is very nuclear, and you never have to walk more than about 5-10 minutes to get to your next lecture. There are so many different cafes on campus. It's so close to the sea and the city centre. Really good transport routes- close to buses and the train station. The facilities are really modern, especially for healthcare. There's loads of support in place for students both emotionally and academically. To improve I would say maybe more tutorials earlier on in the year wth personal tutors, and perhaps society events in the first couple weeks that are alcohol free and not at night.

What students say about nursing-specialisms

Bournemouth University is a good university with several advantages. Firstly, its prime location near a beautiful sandy beach makes it a relaxing and enjoyable place to visit in the summer. Secondly, it has excellent transport services with numerous buses running from different areas of Bournemouth directly to campus. These student-focused buses ensure easy access to the university regardless of your accommodation location. Furthermore, the university constantly invests in new buildings and projects, evident in its recent gym and library upgrades. However, there are some downsides. The sporting facilities for matches and other sports are located far from the university. While a bus service exists, it can be intermittent. If you're on a university team, you might face lengthy travel times to reach the sports facilities. Additionally, there could be more focus on developing academic societies and clubs. While the existing clubs, and the Student Union, are strong, expanding the range of academically oriented clubs would be beneficial. This potential shortcoming reflects the university's overall focus. With its 24-hour access and immense support from the library staff and the Student Union, the library remains a strong point.
