My university experience had its highs and lows. The best part was the supportive academic environment, with passionate lecturers and plenty of resources like well-equipped libraries and study spaces. The vibrant campus life, with diverse clubs and events, made it a great place to meet people and grow personally. However, there were some downsides, like the high cost of living and occasional administrative delays, which could be frustrating. Improving affordability and streamlining student support services would make the experience even better overall.

I’m really enjoying my time at NTU! The academic environment is fantastic—lecturers are passionate about their subjects, and the courses are engaging and well-structured. There’s plenty of support available, whether it’s academic help, career advice, or mental health services. The social side is also a huge plus! There are so many societies, sports teams, and events that make it easy to meet new people and get involved. The campus itself is a great place to study, with modern facilities, good libraries, and plenty of study spaces.

The community feel at the university of York is wonderful. The campus is always buzzing with students and has so many nice areas outside to sit and chat or decompress between lectures. Sitting by the lake and watching the swans and ducks is one of my favourite places to eat lunch with friends. Overall, I've had a great experience with interesting lecturers and supportive supervisors for lab projects, and would recommend York to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-rounded and high quality education experience at University! Improvements could be made in the delivery of information between management and students, especially regarding the future of departments to ensure all students feel represented, respected and informed about the next stages of their teaching.

I've loved studying at the University of Plymouth so far! Staff are really friendly and have always been really happy to help. The SU is great for relaxing between lectures during the day as well as for clubbing on a Saturday night. I'm also really enjoying my course and Plymouth is in a great location to try out fieldwork in different habitats.

Academic-wise: Staff members are friendly, polite, and professional. Curriculum accurately reflects and prepares you for the challenges you will face as a working professional in your field. Student life: Has been the highlight of my stay. Everyone is warm, inclusive and supportive regardless of your background. Variety of events conducted throughout semester. Plenty of co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities should you wish to pursue them, with plenty of support from students and staff alike. Uni's location is not ideal for me, it can be confusing navigating the campus looking for your building and classroom. Moreover, the facilities are great but limited and always high in demand, so not enough to go around for everyone. All in all, an excellent choice for higher studies regardless of your education level, background, or interests. There is always something for everyone here at UofG.

My experience at University of Sussex has been overwhelmingly positive so far. One of the things I appreciate most is the university’s strong commitment to inclusivity and diversity. The campus culture is welcoming, and students from all backgrounds are encouraged to share their perspectives and experiences. This has made it easy to connect with people from around the world and feel part of a supportive community. Academically, the university provides excellent resources, approachable faculty, and plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth. There’s a real emphasis on collaboration and learning beyond the classroom, which I find very enriching. The only challenge for me has been adjusting to the weather. Coming from a much warmer climate, I’m still getting used to the colder and sometimes unpredictable conditions here. However, that’s more of a personal adjustment than a reflection on the university itself. Overall, I would highly recommend University of Sussex to anyone looking for an inclusive, diverse, and academically strong environment it’s been a great experience so far.

The best aspects of the University of Southampton is the great opportunities, e.g. societies and guest talks. I love going sailing on the Solent every other week and frequently running around the beautiful common. Similarly, new guest come to talk about their roles and how to get into their roles which is very beneficial for career development. There are no bad aspects that I have experienced so far.

The best aspects of my University are that it has a great location, which is very accessible. It also offers a lot of opportunities, such as travelling abroad and careers. The worst aspects would be the signal and the Wi-Fi.

Teaching staff are approachable and mostly kind but can be a little dismissive with questions that may seem ‘easy-to-find-answers’ about. Campus has a big library with lots of availability and great for learning during off peak hours but can be very challenging during events/exams. Student service is also very reliable but often show you how to get help, but not necessarily a direct route (some cases). No ‘scouting’ of people who may be interested in sports without it feeling difficult on students. Clubs are available but no real friendly games/matches with people of all varying skill (Ziggurat is good but only 1 sport a week - if someone enjoyed football, they’d only be involved maybe once for that year). Course content can be extremely difficult to manage. Can always be told how to manage by teaching staff but never get told how to manage time. Lectures can be 2 hours (back-back) and that can be emotionally and mentally exhausting (mostly dealt with by the university but some courses still have 2 hour blocks)

One of the best aspects of the campus is the overall campus location and how everything is evenly placed. Also, the facilities, such as the library and Canvas, are of great support for a healthy studying environment. However, some places for improvement could be a big relief for students. 1) An on-campus A big cafeteria, like a mess kitchen, would be a great addition where students can easily find multiple meals for lunch and dinner, which could be affordable and with a great variety in the menu. 2) A shop or a small supermarket where groceries can be easily accessible so that students living on campus don't have to go through the hassle of going to the city centre for basic things.
