Best aspects would definitely be the people and the location. By the beach but with safe and lively night life, which in my opinion is important for most undergrad students, also the welsh are lovely and friendly. It depends on the area but overall the city feels extremely safe which was important for me. Some of the buildings on the old campus (singleton) look a bit run-down especially when the sun isn't out so it might be worth them revamping some buildings to make certain parts look less depressing. But again thats only a few, and the walk to campus is lovely especially as theres a massive park/green space right next to campus, with a 2 minute detour taking you right to the beach. Can't say too much on the students' union because it looks good but i havent really engaged with it. They always have some sort of event going on but honestly i havent been to many, so maybe the events could be more engaging so more people including myself would go.

I can confidently say that this university offers an outstanding academic experience in every possible way. From the moment you step onto campus, you can feel the positive environment, modern infrastructure, and welcoming atmosphere that truly make it stand out. It is not just a place to study; it is a place to grow, develop skills, build networks, and shape your future. One of the strongest aspects of this university is its facilities. The campus is modern, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything students need to succeed academically and socially. The classrooms are spacious, comfortable, and fitted with up-to-date technology such as smart boards, high-quality projectors, and excellent audio systems. This makes lectures engaging and interactive rather than dull or outdated. The library is one of the best features of the university. It offers a quiet, focused environment for studying, along with a vast collection of books, journals, research papers, and digital resources. There are dedicated silent study zones, group discussion rooms, and computer labs available for students. The online library system is also very efficient, allowing easy access to e-books and research databases from anywhere. This makes studying more flexible and convenient, especially during exam periods. The laboratories are equally impressive. Whether you are studying science, engineering, business, or technology, the labs are equipped with modern tools and updated software. Students are given practical exposure, which helps them connect theory with real-world application. This practical learning approach prepares students for professional careers and gives them confidence in their skills. The university also provides excellent student support facilities. There are career services that help with CV writing, interview preparation, and job placements. Many companies visit the campus for career fairs and recruitment events. This creates strong industry connections and increases job opportunities for students. Additionally, there are counseling services, academic advisors, and student support teams who are always ready to help with personal or academic concerns. Another major strength of this university is its teaching staff. The teachers are highly qualified, experienced, and genuinely dedicated to student success. They are not only knowledgeable in their subjects but also approachable and supportive. Students feel comfortable asking questions, seeking clarification, or discussing ideas during and after lectures.

It’s a great place to study because the academic environment is supportive, the teaching quality is strong, and there are plenty of opportunities to grow through projects, events, and collaboration with classmates. The campus community also makes it easy to feel included and motivated. It could be improved by streamlining administrative processes, offering clearer communication, and reducing unnecessary bureaucracy. More practical learning opportunities and better support during exam periods would also make a big difference.

The place is very small which is good because everything is in walking distance and you get a better sense of community while you study. The downside is that it is not as good as when I started in my first year of undergraduate, the student Union and its facilities have lost a lot of the charm that they had originally and its a shame that new students wont have as great of an experience that I had when I joined. Not only this but the town is definitely not as safe as it used to be when I first moved and that is very apparent but that isnt paticularly something that the university can fix.
