its a great and friendly place and i love when there is a big campus and every building in a same place (i can walk to my class from my accomadation) i dont have a worst aspect actually everyhing generally alright

Great university located in a beautiful coastal town. The staff are kind and supportive, and there to help students in times of need. The SU organises events which support students, like the free pantry on Mondays, where those of us who are struggling due to cost of living can take food for free . Additionally, there are many facilities, like the printing room and the MAC suite, which students can use to help them with their course work material. Overall a lovely place filled with amazing people, but awful prices. The campus art shop, while handy, has high prices and the canteen food is extremely pricey too. They also do not accept any cash, which can be a hassle.

For someone who has to live for the first time away from their family, that too in a new country. Bangor really welcomed me with open arms. From International Student Staff to the fraternity, everyone is so sweet and helpful. I love that they make you feel at home. Even if you’ve the slightest doubt , they are there to help you with it. I’m happy that I’m surrounded by such great people.

The uni is amazing because of the campus, small student population, the lecturers and the support available. To improve, the uni should keep Francis Close Hall campus as it is the best campus visually - all students and staff love the site.

The campus is on the outskirts of Edinburgh, it is far more peaceful than the city centre. The greenery and wildlife you see on a daily basis gives a more relaxing environment, it is quite far from the city centre and takes around 45 minutes to get to Princes street but the buses run very often (a bus every 10-20 minutes throughout the day) making it easy to travel whenever you need to. The lecturers are all very approachable and in smaller classes you are often able to get 1:1 feedback or assistance with course work. There are so many sports clubs and societies giving opportunities to meet new people. I have found it difficult to maintain friendships that I've made earlier on through the semester. I think it would benefit myself and others if there were more events throughout the semester specifically designated for meeting other people who have also struggled making friends.

The student report is great and really accessible for all different types of issues and problems you may need. Some of the buildings look quite dull, I would like if the lecture rooms had more windows.

WIFI is absolutely awful and there are many dead zones around campus. How can a top-level engineering university provide such poor internet connection, especially when all of our assignments are internet based and due online? I am constantly searching for places around campus with any useable connection and the VPN speeds when you're off campus are just unusable. It's the year 2024. How have we not figured this out yet? It's absolutely unaccusable. You have the money to build an entire new campus, but can't fix the internet at your main campus? Awful.

I find the amount of support from academic to international and student representative support so immense and it made coping and adjusting to the new environment very easy. The uniskills and library services here is top notch and staff here are very helpful and give guidance when needed. One thing that can be improved is creating more part time job opportunities for students especially international students.

I have not had any worse experience at UWE rather, it has been a fantastic journey so far since i started my MSC program in January. The environment is conducive for studying and there are up to date facilities to use. I believe there will be room for improvement in some places but i am not sure yet as i just started my program in January and still exploring but so far so good, it has been a fantastic journey and i look forward to many more memories at the Uni...

For what Bournemouth lacks in name it makes up for it with the great student support and environment of the university. Every staff member and facilities are easy to access or talk to. The career hub is super useful and honestly a massive positive, not to mention the very efficient medical center and student union finance support team for students. The bursaries are generous in my opinion and I honestly could not have made it otherwise. The pastoral care is unmatched in my opinion. Safety on campus is great. the student union always has stuff going on, ALWAYS, like a bread and bakery stall on some mornings, lots of international events too, being from France it made me feel quite at home at time. The teaching isn't awful, not the best either, maybe it's my course, but the option and units are interesting. The university reputation is average at best, but like I said they make up for it in other ways. The area is nice, it's a student town, with the beach, I personally like it, and the transport system is very very reliable and efficient.
