The people I have met here are so amazing, I feel very safe and comfortable. Testament support are always finding new ways to improve and are continuously raising awareness on what they have on offer and how they are abkd to support every individual

Most of the uni staff go above to help students, many of them staying extra hours and using their free time and their own supplies to help. The worst part is that the uni doesn’t provide that much support so often you rely on the kindness of certain technicians and lecturers. XNor does uni check on some of the lecturers ability to teach and to keep the curriculum up to date (some courses unfortunately get lecturers that reuse the same teaching material for 5+ years - luckily this doesn’t happen that often)

The community feel at the university of York is wonderful. The campus is always buzzing with students and has so many nice areas outside to sit and chat or decompress between lectures. Sitting by the lake and watching the swans and ducks is one of my favourite places to eat lunch with friends. Overall, I've had a great experience with interesting lecturers and supportive supervisors for lab projects, and would recommend York to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-rounded and high quality education experience at University! Improvements could be made in the delivery of information between management and students, especially regarding the future of departments to ensure all students feel represented, respected and informed about the next stages of their teaching.

The University of Gloucestershire offers a comprehensive range of facilities and a vibrant student life across its three campuses: The Park and Francis Close Hall in Cheltenham, and Oxstalls in Gloucester. The Francis Close Hall and Oxstalls campus libraries provide 24/7 access to extensive collections, IT resources, wireless printing, and photocopying services. Across the university, students have access to over 500 computers, free Wi-Fi, and loanable laptops. Media equipment, including camcorders and dictaphones, is also available, with digital editing software installed on all library PCs. The university boasts a variety of specialist facilities tailored to different disciplines. For instance, the Oxstalls campus houses the Business School and Growth Hub, featuring a live trading room, innovative teaching spaces, and a moot court room. Additionally, the campus offers an international-standard sports arena, 3G pitches, and a cricket pavilion and pitch. The University of Gloucestershire fosters a diverse student community where individuals from various backgrounds learn together while embracing university life. The Chapel at Francis Close Hall offers a tranquil space for reflection, providing mental and emotional support for students seeking peace amidst their academic journey. This inclusive environment enhances student well-being, encouraging a sense of belonging and personal growth. A potential area for improvement would be the provision of short-term university accommodation for students in need, particularly at the postgraduate level. Given the unique challenges faced by these students—such as research commitments, placements, or unforeseen personal circumstances—offering flexible housing options would greatly enhance their academic experience and overall well-being. This initiative would reflect the university's commitment to student support, ensuring that all scholars have access to a stable and conducive living environment during critical phases of their studies.

The support Brighton Uni has given me so much support with this course and made it very clear who to contact if any issues arise. I also know from friends how incredibly supportive and sympathetic the uni has been when they have experienced personal issues. This is my second Uni I have studied at, and Brighton is far better with the support it gives its students compared to the first one.

I really like the way professor are teaching and taking care of each student and helping out whenever they are stuck into something or somewhere and we got all the facilities are provide for respective course

The library facilities are amazing. However, especially during exam times, there would not be enough space, so it would be nice if it was a bit bigger. The gym facilities were also nice, especially as a way to unwind.

Best part of the uni is it's facilities like the David Wilson Library and sports centers,student union , career hub etc. Accommodation is decent, with options in the city and The Village, though the latter is farther from campus. On the downside, some buildings feel outdated, Wi-Fi can be patchy, and travel from The Village to campus can be inconvenient. Overall, it’s supportive with room for improvement.

The university often hold different types of activities for students to participate, which allows students to get together and meet more new friends. Also, it is convenient to have a Costcutter on campus and a LIdl within a 10 min walking distance. Meanwhile if student needs help and went to the student hub, it often take a long time for queuing up to seek help.
