Life Science degrees in East Midlands

Best part of the uni is it's facilities like the David Wilson Library and sports centers,student union , career hub etc. Accommodation is decent, with options in the city and The Village, though the latter is farther from campus. On the downside, some buildings feel outdated, Wi-Fi can be patchy, and travel from The Village to campus can be inconvenient. Overall, it’s supportive with room for improvement.

What makes it a great place to study is how spacious the library is and how you get full support from anyone nearby as well as attending the student union for such great events. One way to improve this university is if there were other such fun activities going on.

The facilities here are great, especially with the new superlab and large library. the course content is well organised and structured in an online portal, alongside useful materials making finding necessary information easy. the location of the accommodation is great too, with almost all of them being within a five minute walk of one another, right by the city centre and only 20 minutes from the main campus. the location of both feels relatively safe, and the buildings are well maintained and clean. support for students is easy to access and helps with a wide variety of needs. the student life is ok, the city is relatively small so there's only a couple clubs but with the Derbion and events organised by the union there's enough to do.

Limited amount of shops in Lincoln, which makes it get a bit stale quick, but is still a lovely city with plenty of things to do. Another downside is the fact it is in the middle of nowhere, you have to get trains or coaches if you want to go anywhere else. However, it does have everything you need as a student, with a good night out as well

The best part is when I got to meet people from different backgrounds and I’ve interacted with people I wouldn’t normally interact with, The Nile website is sometimes confusing, and the lectures aren’t always helpful.

The support given to students in all aspects is great - wether it's academics, careers, mental health, or any other aspect, there's always someone willing to help. The facilities available are also great especially as an engineering student, the lab facilities available for us are really great, and promote student learning and creativity.

Best aspect is the wonderful array of societies and extra curricular activities on campus, including my personal favourite Musicality! Worst part is probably the obscene charge for student card replacements, mine was stolen and I was still asked to pay £15!
