Health and Medicine degrees in Wales

We're lacking a lot in terms of music facilities, or facilities available are very old/decrepid. Bangor is a very beautiful area, however ot is a struggle to get around with mobility issues. Everyone here is friendly as we're a small community. It has a cosy, warm vibe.

Also, it has 95% employability rate within 6 months of Graduation with professional qualities and skills. They offer Assistance from Careers and Employability Service during our studies and after our graduation. USW Offers 500+ courses with unique & realistic course modules. Moreover USW’s research and teaching are focused on the global challenges. It is situated in an outstanding part of the UK with city life, mountains, coast and precious campuses. There are cultural diversity stunning beaches and breathtaking countryside. They provide facilities like 15-weeks work project opportunity. Dedicated Mac & PC labs with specialist facilities. Always working with the latest technologies & development tools. Calypto lab, with software licenses & support for the Catapult C toolset, sponsored by Calypto Design Systems Inc. Renesas Embedded Systems Lab includes 25 new high-end terminals running advanced tools. Work on industrial case studies and be involved in ‘live’ mini-projects. All these things make University of Southwales different from others and it stand unique in it’s own way.

Best aspects would definitely be the people and the location. By the beach but with safe and lively night life, which in my opinion is important for most undergrad students, also the welsh are lovely and friendly. It depends on the area but overall the city feels extremely safe which was important for me. Some of the buildings on the old campus (singleton) look a bit run-down especially when the sun isn't out so it might be worth them revamping some buildings to make certain parts look less depressing. But again thats only a few, and the walk to campus is lovely especially as theres a massive park/green space right next to campus, with a 2 minute detour taking you right to the beach. Can't say too much on the students' union because it looks good but i havent really engaged with it. They always have some sort of event going on but honestly i havent been to many, so maybe the events could be more engaging so more people including myself would go.

There are lots of resources and study help around the campus which is very helpful. My favourite feature is the outdoor study pods which are great in the summer for enjoying the nice weather and getting work done. I think one of the improvements that could be made is having more outdoor areas

Cardiff Met is an amazing uni to go to! The science facilities are well maintained and it has lots of facilities for studying. The only downside I would say is that there are two campuses and some events are only at one, so you need to travel across the area.

It’s an amazing location, with a great social atmosphere, particularly at the students union with lots of societies to get involved in. Sometimes I think there is too much online learning and not enough support.

Good university course with excellent tutors and modules. Most tutors are patient and answer any questions you may have, involving the course. Student feedback is vital and personal tutor sessions and surveys are often held to ensure every student's satisfaction with the course. More trips could definitely be offered as a way to encourage everyone to bond and to help boost motivation however, as there is a lot more offered to the lower level students and students on other courses. The foundation degree for media is definitely worth your tuition money however, as while the work is quite challenging and there's a lot to be completed, a range of things are taught and the tutors cover a lot of different pathways there are in the media industry.

The location is very well, the campus is good, but the toilets is not enough, specially, because we have a lot people inside and for some people need to wash feat to pray, the don't have the place. We need more toilets space.

I studied Fashion and Photography at Carmarthen School of Art (Coleg Sir Gâr), and both courses were fantastic. There’s easy access to all the equipment you might need, and the support from tutors is incredible. They constantly push you to go deeper with your ideas and achieve the best possible results in your projects.

Aberystwyth is a great University for Computer Science. I was a career changer with no experience coding before coming here and the course taught me everything I needed to gain a placement with a AAA game studio. I wanted to write this review because I remember looking for Universitys when applying and wondering if Aber is good. I saw a review saying that the course didn't prepare them for the Industry at all. I strongly disagree. As someone who didn't come from an ICT background and didn't code at all before, I can tell you you will learn everything you need. Just go to your practicles! Truth is because it's Computer Science attendence is low, and students who don't do the un-assesed practices and coursework will have a hard time. If you want to go to a Uni though where lecturers care about you, take the time to talk to you and are invested in your success it's a great choice. Aberystwyth also has good ties to the industry and goes out of its' way to get students career ready. If you want to know where students end up just look up the Uni on linkedIn. Aberystwyth has gotten rewards for its' teaching repeatedly, and rightfully so. Yes, it's not a Russel Group University and prestige is not on the same level, but if you're engaged and want to learn the skills and have great lecturers and an active student life (because there is really nothing else to distract you from your studies in Aberystwyth) it's a great choice.
