The best aspects of my University experience so far would be the practical experience of making a music video, with industry standard equipment, accompanied by the knowledge and guidance given to us by our lecturers, all of them being inspiring and engaging, with a genuine passion for film, for the students success at University, but also our future, the future of film. The initial experience with an individual from the learning support team, was disappointing. The lack of communication and guidance given as a fresher, made it hard to settle into University, with the delay on a learning support plan. However, once I was at University, they have supported me formidably.

The lecturers are very nice and knowledgeable. There’s great student support available through the wellbeing hub as well as assessment support and tutorials. Many interesting masterclasses with industry professionals are given. The main point of improvement is the building. The windows need to be completely redone due to a mold problem and some of the air conditioners don’t work properly.
