I can honestly say apart from having to my lifestyle to incorporate study in amongst work and family life i have had no negative experiences. The support from the tutors on this course has been above and beyond and the resources they provided for optimal learning have been amazing. If extra support is needed they are only just an email or a teams meeting away and if they cant help you will be sign posted in the right direction. I feel for not considering myself to be an academic person i have excelled in this course but this was only due to the support provided.

I am working full time and Currently studying a HNC in Business, at the University centre Wakefield. I was Originally only going to do the HNC but I have found the staff all very helpful and easy to get along with, you are treated like an individual and the tutors always make time for you, if you went to a big university you wouldn't get this.So I have decided to do the HND and the top up degree also The bonus with the tuition fee's is also very good as I would be paying 9000 a year to do the same course at a big University. I would recommend University centre Wakefield to anyone :-)

Bradford college is a great place to learn and the teaching and support is excellent. The building is modern and all materials needed are provided. Employment is excellent upon completion of the course. Bradford is not the greatest place to live and there is not a lot to do as a student in the area.

Studying at Birmingham City University in the Curzon building is great because of the modern facilities, comfortable study spaces, and central location, which makes everything convenient. It could be improved by adding more quiet study areas during busy times and better communication about timetable updates.

The history of special effects in cinema is rich and varied, covering everything from clay models and painted scenery to explosions, practical prosthetics, CGI techniques, and advanced motion capture methods. Career options are largely based around the film industry, and can include positions like visual effects artist, 3D animator, practical model maker, film production designer, or creative software engineer. Students learn about visual storytelling, and how to apply their technical skills to creating memorable on-screen moments. Students can specialise at postgraduate level into many different areas, making them suited to the style of creative work which inspires them the most.
