I don't really engage with the SU or Student support so can't judge them effectively. Parts of Singleton campus look run down, but Bay campus is brand new and looks great. Swansea has a great student life and its location gives you loads to do, like explore the gower and spend time on the beach when the weather permits.

The staff and students around the campus are always so welcoming and friendly. It really makes me enjoy where I’m studying. I think something that could be improved is the university’s response to student based issues.

My university experience has been very positive overall. The teaching staff are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely supportive, which makes a big difference academically and personally. The course content is engaging and relevant, with a good balance between theory and practical application. I’ve also really valued the sense of community — there are plenty of societies, events, and opportunities to meet people from diverse backgrounds, making it a welcoming and inclusive place to study. The campus facilities and resources, particularly the library and online learning platforms, have been extremely helpful.

I find my university a great place to study because they have so much systems in place to help and support students through university life. So far I can’t find any fault because I have access to so much learning materials and support with wellbeing.

I think how central the university is in the city allows us to have so many opportunities which is a big positive about studying here how many opportunities they give us for work experience volunteering etc

From my perspective of being a student at coventry university id like to say how good the physical location and quality of all the facilites are. the design, layout, and ease of access for botth the engineering building and the library are excillent, student life here is great too, i currently live in a rental-based accommodation with 4 people, and it works quite well. Personally I couldnt fault the university with anything as I believe it is perfectly equipped to fullfil all its students needs.

The campus is absolutely gorgeous! A wonderful mix of old and new, castles and modern buildings. Reserving rooms encourages students to get out of their rooms and study anywhere on campus, from the top of the castle tower, to the communal "pods" at Commons. The Student Union building has a bar and a small shop, and activities going on almost every day. Karaoke every other Saturday is one of my favourites. Close enough to the city of Bath for easy access, while still having the feeling of a university town. Lots of student discounts and student bars/clubs in town, as the University of Bath is also nearby. Interesting classes, lovely lecturers and guest lecturers, and proper assessments. Few, if not none, tests, allowing for those who do not thrive with simple memorization to show off how they learn. The diversity of students encourages the broadening of your own world view. A wide range of courses, allowing for study into incredibly specific topics. The main issue with the university is the wait time for wellbeing appointments, as it can take up to four months to even get a foot in the door. This means that if you do need help, it is very difficult to achieve. Also, while it isn't the university's fault, it is important to know that the First Bus system is not very reliable, so if you have a job in town, it is quite nerve-wracking.

There are excellent lecturers and student support services (particularly academic skills). The campus has a good feel and has a lot of outdoor seating which will be nice when the weather is warm. Lecture rooms are good but the seats are very uncomfortable. There is little impact from the students' union, for example there was no 'refreshers fayre' for January intake students, which also impacts the student life score.

It’s a great place to study as the campus is located in the city centre so it’s very accessible for shopping , eating out , parties etc and going from campus to campus is straightforward . However , the campus can get overcrowded sometimes

Studying educational psychology at uni will provide a scientific study of children and adolescents’ minds and behaviour in relation to education. You’ll explore how individuals learn and develop by looking at the main principles of psychological theory and examining how they’re applied to education, in terms of teaching, learning and assessment. You’ll also explore areas like the effect of wellbeing on learning, ethics in teaching and how different personality types respond to different teaching methods. Many educational psychology degrees also include practical work placements, giving you real-life work experience in educational environments like schools, nurseries and other early years settings.
