What students say about digital-photography

As a music student, there are lots of practice rooms which is useful. The Oaklands building is old and so in the winter its constantly dripping. The heating is good in the winter but stays on in the summer making classes far too hot, particularly for dance lessons( and there’s no control in the rooms to change it. The SU holds decent events, and the prices aren’t too bad. But I’ve heard stories of them handling student health and well-being cases terribly, including several SA cases. I’ve never had to ask for support from the uni, but I know people who have and they’ve not had any complaints. The location, although not a huge city and doesn’t have lots of night life, is a great place and there are lots of buses/trains to the beach and nightlife should that be something people want. It’s also a gorgeous place, and in the spring/summer, looks lush! The library has a huge selection of books and resources, including computers on all three levels - the levels are split into noise levels, e.g. ground floor is noise, top floor is silent, so that students can pick the best environment for them to study. There is an option to access all the resources the library has from your own computer/phone which makes essay writing/studying easier. Last, but not least, the campus dog Lincoln is adorable, and the best thing about the University.
