There are excellent lecturers and student support services (particularly academic skills). The campus has a good feel and has a lot of outdoor seating which will be nice when the weather is warm. Lecture rooms are good but the seats are very uncomfortable. There is little impact from the students' union, for example there was no 'refreshers fayre' for January intake students, which also impacts the student life score.

One of the best parts of my university experience has been the supportive learning environment. The lecturers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in student success. The course content is well structured and relevant to real-world applications, which has helped me build practical skills alongside academic knowledge. Access to online learning resources and flexible study options has also made it easier to balance studies with other commitments. Overall, the university provides a diverse and inclusive community that makes it a great place to learn and grow. Some modules could benefit from quicker feedback on assignments, as timely feedback is important for improvement. Additionally, increasing opportunities for hands-on projects, industry engagement, and career guidance would further enhance the student experience.

In my English Literature course, all my professors and lecturers make learning engaging, I am happy with the course and I have studied many different kinds of literature. However, in February 2025 the University announced that they are closing the Humanities Department and so from 2027 the course will no longer be available for new students.

I want to study emerging economies and learn languages and it’s easily one of the best places in the world for that. There really is a global focus. The library is amazing. It really punches above its weight in terms of the staff and resources you get access to. The location is amazing. Bloomsbury is so nice. Russel Square is the loveliest park ever, It’s a small campus uni but we get access to all of london around us so it doesn’t feel small at all. People at SOAS are very nice, but not necessarily as outgoing as other unis. But you’re in london so you don’t really have to worry about that to be honest: If you don’t make many friends here, there’s many other unis nearby. However I will say that it’s definitely not very diverse in terms of politics. Most people here are extremely left wing and students and staff don’t respond very well to dissenting ideas. Even though it’s very ethnically diverse, most students have extremely similar worldviews and ways of approaching things, which isn’t ideal for intellectual exploration.

Could do with more support for students struggling financially and could also do with some cheaper options in the Union and other facilities around the Uni such as a buildings cafe. Lots of buildings are located near eachother so you never really have to walk far which is nice and everyone is relatively friendly. The lecturers seem so actually care

From my perspective of being a student at coventry university id like to say how good the physical location and quality of all the facilites are. the design, layout, and ease of access for botth the engineering building and the library are excillent, student life here is great too, i currently live in a rental-based accommodation with 4 people, and it works quite well. Personally I couldnt fault the university with anything as I believe it is perfectly equipped to fullfil all its students needs.

Accommodation is nice although a bit on the pricey side, the sports facilities are incredible, very wide range of clubs and societies , staff are helpful and friendly, great parties held in the student union building, very nice area to live in and a beautiful campus

Basically london met is full of diversity. People from different countries & culture are here. So it feels very nice! The improvement should be on income collection team, they are very unprofessional.

The teachers are the most friendliest people on earth, and the whole environment feels very student-friendly, but i would have loved if they also had an dedicated research team, as well as their made their online learning easier to access and understand
