Studying at Sheffield Hallam University offers a dynamic and varied experience shaped by academic opportunities, social life, and the realities of modern student living. The Arts building is by far the best thing about this university and my chosen course. The studios and performance spaces are top notch. You can even have access to so many instruments. So many nice facilities but access to them could be improved by extending the accessible hours. The building closes way too early (9 PM). Especially on the weekends (4 PM). Central location. The uni food is pretty mid so I choose Tesco meal deals more often unfortunately but if you’re not picky you can eat for 2 pounds at the beckett kitchen. Again wish they stayed open longer. Can’t say much about the union other than there aren’t many societies to choose from compared to the other unis.

There are excellent lecturers and student support services (particularly academic skills). The campus has a good feel and has a lot of outdoor seating which will be nice when the weather is warm. Lecture rooms are good but the seats are very uncomfortable. There is little impact from the students' union, for example there was no 'refreshers fayre' for January intake students, which also impacts the student life score.

The university is diversified and inclusive, welcoming international student from all over the world, with staff who are ready to listen and create a bespoke learning experience for student The ambience if the university is serene, feee from urban stress and traffic hereby creating a relaxed environment For learning. The university has a broad range of campus activities to build the socio-academic lifestyle of student and prepare them for the world outside the university
