Cultural Studies degrees in Scotland

One of the best aspects of studying at the University of Aberdeen is the strong academic support and access to great facilities, like the Sir Duncan Rice Library. The campus is also beautiful, and the student community is welcoming, which makes it easy to settle in and feel part of things. The lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, and there are plenty of resources available to support learning. However, an area for improvement would be increasing study spaces during busy times, as it can sometimes be hard to find a quiet spot, especially around exam periods. Additionally, having more streamlined access to online resources and library services in one place, like MyAberdeen, would make it even easier to access what we need for our studies.

Student safety and community feel is very strong. Lots of history surrounding the university and the town is beautiful. To improve I would have better transport for student to move between town and the nearest cities (like Edinburgh), better nightlife for the students and more accomodation.

UHI is a fantastic university for distance learning courses. The support that they provide is assuring, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and the intended learning outcomes are very clearly outlined from the very start. Accordingly, I enthusiastically recommend studying the PG distance learning courses through the UHI!
