Counselling degrees in Scotland

UHI is a fantastic university for distance learning courses. The support that they provide is assuring, teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, and the intended learning outcomes are very clearly outlined from the very start. Accordingly, I enthusiastically recommend studying the PG distance learning courses through the UHI!

The atmosphere at this university is great! The union is always lively, with pool and darts, hot food, music and lots of room for socialising. Even when in class it feels great, the lectures are always informative and the seminars mean that the tutors can really help and talk to the students. I like the fact that each semester the students can choose their own seminar times, creating a timetable that suits their schedule. The location of this university is one of my favourite things, such a close walk to the main shopping street and some great places for food. Also close to to GCU which is great as the students can mix and hang out together. Overall this university is a great place to apply and i am very happy with the decision i made!

The facilities are great, we have access to everything we need for our coursework and more. There is a gym and loads of options for sport. The uni holds events for all sorts of holidays and activities. The student union is really supportive. There are great initiatives for sustainability. Student life separate from the uni, as far as I’ve noticed, is very nightlife based but that might just be because I haven’t explored enough.
