Counselling degrees in All England

As I study a degree at New College Durham I find that I get a lot of support and our tutors really care about our education and wellbeing, as opposed to other universities where there are a lot more students. I know how much support I have available to me and where I can find it if I need it. College could be improved by having larger classrooms for us all to fit into more comfortably.

Safe Campus area and places to study 24/7. Variety of international students so really diverse and lots of events to celebrate the diversity. Sometimes a bit expensive for what it's worth when it comes to the sale of things e.g. Accommodation

The best parts: the aesthetics, the size, the layout The worst parts: design of the lecture theatres (stick on walls), temperature in the lecture theatres, lack of parking, cost of sports membership, cost of vending machines.

The University of Staffordshire has a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. The lecturers are passionate and always willing to help, and the campus has a real community feel where you never feel like “just another student.” The facilities are modern, and the hands-on teaching style makes you feel prepared for real-world work. There’s also a great balance between academic support and social life, which really helps you settle in and enjoy the experience. And how could it be improved? Communication between departments could sometimes be smoother, especially around deadlines or timetable changes. More study spaces during peak times would also be helpful. And while the support services are great, extending their availability during exam periods would make a big difference.
