I am working full time and Currently studying a HNC in Business, at the University centre Wakefield. I was Originally only going to do the HNC but I have found the staff all very helpful and easy to get along with, you are treated like an individual and the tutors always make time for you, if you went to a big university you wouldn't get this.So I have decided to do the HND and the top up degree also The bonus with the tuition fee's is also very good as I would be paying 9000 a year to do the same course at a big University. I would recommend University centre Wakefield to anyone :-)

I love new college as the cohort intake is much smaller than a big university. However, the university building also has FE students, which they can be quite rude and intimidating. It would be much better if the building housed higher education students only. The lecturers are amazing and really supportive.

The campus has a feel of togetherness and welcome, especially when students cross paths around the University library. Student Union works overtime as well to ensure you're not left without something to do with their multiple events. The only down experience I have had came when I reached out for help, I never got the exact, or any beneficial, help as I needed despite following the provided necessary steps.

The facilities in terms of student union, resources like library and internet access inside the campus are wonderful. The faculty members are all supportive and friendly. It’s an incredible place to study - with amazing connections and history. Feel very lucky to study here. The course is well led to identifying your career goals and ambitions and trying to work within that field. Some of the teaching staff are a bit up themselves at time and can give a little bitter feeling towards music,
