As an international student, I have been fortunate to experience exceptional support and nurturing relationships throughout my academic journey. The faculty and staff have gone above and beyond to ensure that I feel welcomed and included in the campus community. They have provided valuable resources and guidance, helping me navigate not only my coursework but also the cultural adjustments that come with studying abroad. This strong network of support has made my transition smoother and has allowed me to thrive both academically and personally.

The best aspect is the support the university gives me. Funding, student support and more. The worst is the course I am currently at, we are super short staffed and I’m afraid I may not get the help required

Based on my time here, the University of Huddersfield is an excellent choice if you're looking for a career-focused degree and a supportive learning environment. The standout feature is definitely the teaching quality, backed by the Gold TEF rating, as nearly all my lecturers were genuine experts who were passionate and approachable. The modern, compact campus is a big plus—everything is central, from the state-of-the-art library (great during exam season!) to the specialist labs, and the fact that Huddersfield itself is a really affordable student town makes a huge difference. While the local nightlife might not rival a big city like Manchester, the focus on practical skills, the strong emphasis on industry placements, and the overall sense of community made my experience highly rewarding and put me in a great position for my career.

The best is the way its made me more confident in my art and made me embrace methods id previously rejected and made me consider more ways I can make a career in art than tattooing and allowed me to use resources id want to use after like risoprinting has become of particular interest. The worst is probably the vagueness of assignments sometimes and I tend to worry Im doing the wrong thing, but I have plenty of tutors I can talk to about this.

Great place to study and embrace the creativity across all paths of study! Although smaller than the majority of universes it’s bustling with creativity and talent. Lectures who are industry professionals and always go the extra mile. The new acting and musical theatre courses are exceptional breaking drama school stereotypes creating an accessible experience for all.

The university is diversified and inclusive, welcoming international student from all over the world, with staff who are ready to listen and create a bespoke learning experience for student The ambience if the university is serene, feee from urban stress and traffic hereby creating a relaxed environment For learning. The university has a broad range of campus activities to build the socio-academic lifestyle of student and prepare them for the world outside the university

Teaching staff here are exceptionally kind to students and are willing to go an extra mile to help students' studies, with a variety of adjustment measures available. There are too many people smoking on campus and the university management ought to take care of that.

Best aspect: amazing facilities, highly professional tutors and staffs, everyone seems to have good heads on their shoulders. High teaching standard and it's nice meeting people from other cultural settlements. Worst aspect: more of a recommendation, extracurricular activities to establish a better inculcation, especially for foreign students. For instance, city tour for foreign students, debates, sports etc, this will facilitate better friendship between students

Leeds Arts Univerity is small in size, meaning there are few noteworthy Student Unions in comparison to UoL, but does feel welcoming and safe. The university's student support is freindly and helpful from what I experienced; LAU is a very inclusive organisation and does strive to support students with a variety of services available. The campus is a little dull looking, with few spaces looking vibrant in contrast to the many white/grey hallways. I was able to use the Film/Photography course's cameras as a Music student, however the university's facilities seem somewhat limited as a whole, with spaces and equipment scarce close to submission time.
