Great aspect is the modern facilities and learning environment. The campus is well-equipped with up-to-date labs and software resources, which is especially valuable for engineering students. The university also provides good academic support services and career guidance, helping students improve employability. Meanwhile, for something to improve the best will be expanding networking opportunities with more industry professionals and increasing internship connections would further enhance our careers.

As an international student, one of the most rewarding aspects of my university experience has been the supportive and student-friendly environment. Adjusting to a new country and education system can be challenging, but the university’s approachable faculty, student services, and peer support made the transition much smoother. The staff are always willing to help, and there are numerous resources available to assist with academic, personal, and cultural adaptation. The university’s inclusivity is another key strength. It celebrates diversity and provides a space where everyone feels respected and valued, regardless of their background or nationality. This inclusive atmosphere has helped me build meaningful connections and collaborate with people from all over the world, enriching my learning and broadening my perspective. Furthermore, the welcoming and accessible environment has made a huge difference. From orientation events to student societies, there are constant efforts to make international students feel at home. The campus facilities, online learning tools, and support services are highly accessible, ensuring that all students can participate fully in academic and social activities. If I can point out something that can be improved is Food. It’s funny how something as simple as food can make such a big difference in how “at home” you feel in a new country. Encouraging more international food options on campus or hosting cultural food events could make a meaningful (and delicious!) improvement to student life.

i love the facilities at this uni, the library and the teaching is great. there are many places for all types of students ,quiet or not, to go and the nightlife in the city is prety decent. it is quite affordable compared to other universitys close by. the societies are fantastic aswell. the university could improve on certain teaching aspects in the first year to ease us into how very independant it all is

In 1 semester I had time of explorations and many curious finds. Great course, nice people both students and the staff. Help whenever I need and facilities that put other unis in the dust. The student union adds so much room for opportunities and helping me perfect my social skills. Overall I'm having great time

My experience at London South Bank University has been overwhelmingly positive, and I truly believe it is a great place to study and grow as a student. Their friendly attitude creates a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their studies. Another major strength of LSBU is its focus on practical, career-oriented learning. For many courses, practical sessions, workshops, and hands-on projects make learning more engaging and directly relevant to future careers. This practical approach is one of the main reasons LSBU graduates are well-prepared for the workforce. The location is also a huge advantage. Being in Central London means students have easy access to internships, part-time jobs, networking events, and professional opportunities. Public transport links around the campus are excellent, which makes commuting simple and convenient. Additionally, studying in such a vibrant, diverse city exposes you to many cultures and experiences that broaden your perspective and personal growth. LSBU is also known for its diversity. Students come from many different backgrounds and countries, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. Interacting with a wide range of people enriches both academic and social life, and helps build strong communication skills and global awareness. The Students’ Union plays an important role in making campus life enjoyable. They organise events, clubs, and societies that help students socialise, develop hobbies, and take breaks from academic pressure. From cultural celebrations to academic workshops and sports activities, the SU offers something for everyone. It also supports student welfare and actively listens to student concerns. While my experience has been largely positive, there are a few areas that could be improved to make the university experience even better. Administrative processes, such as timetabling or enrollment updates, can sometimes be slow or unclear. Improved communication and faster responses would make things easier for students, especially during busy periods like the start of term. Additionally, although the accommodations are comfortable and close to campus, they can be quite expensive because of the London location. More affordable housing options would be very helpful for students on a tight budget. Lastly, while LSBU already hosts a number of events, increasing the number of career-oriented workshops, industry meetups, and networking sessions would make a big difference. These events help students make valuable connections and understand the professional world more deeply. Overall, London South Bank University offers a strong combination of academic support, practical teaching, modern facilities, and an excellent central London location. The friendly atmosphere, diversity, and active student life create a positive and motivating environment for learning. With a few improvements in communication and affordability, the university could provide an even better experience. Despite those small areas for development, LSBU remains a great place to study, grow, and prepare for future opportunities

I think there are a lot of resources available lately and even support for international student but I think they could be more facilities to study such as study rooms, more pods available And also more student events!!

It was enough good but international student are facing problem financially in Uk so you have to arrange job of management and admin. The cost of living is too much expensive in Uk. As you already know that Govt allowed only 20 hours a week. So discuss this matter with the Govt. Try to sort out the problems of the student. So they feel comfortable during studies.

The lectures are very informative and the lecturers are very friendly. What could be done to improve the university is to paint the walls in colour. Doesn’t have to be all of them. It’s just so grey inside R1, especially for an art’s uni, and it’s driving me insane because I’m in this building for 8 hours at a time.
